The international open call for audience members worldwide to be invited to the 2nd International Congress of Theatre Audiences has been a great success, with 142 applications submitted. 50 audience members from 37 countries have been selected, representing a wide diversity of profiles (gender, age, involvement in the performing arts) and projects (inclusion, education, mediation, participation). We will introduce them to you soon.<\/p>\n\n

Among the 37 countries represented at the Congress, we have achieved a significant presence of representatives from Africa and Asia, addressing a gap from the 1st edition:<\/p>\n\n

– Africa will be represented by guests from 6 countries: Algeria, Benin, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea, Morocco, and Tunisia.<\/p>\n\n

– Asia will be represented by guests from 8 countries: United Arab Emirates, Philippines, Indonesia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n

– Europe will be represented by guests from 9 countries: Germany, Croatia, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n

– The Americas will be represented by guests from 13 countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, Ecuador, the United States, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, and Chile.<\/p>\n\n

– Oceania will be represented by 1 delegate from Australia.<\/p>\n\n

Starting in mid-September, this group of invited audience members will participate in an online pre-congress where they will define the main content and formats of the 2nd International Congress of Theatre Audiences.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
